Wholesalers are starting to open their own direct to consumer online shop. Wholesalers are opening their own retail shops (Barton Perreira Mykita, Anne Et Valentin, Cutler and Gross). Brick and Mortar, eyewear retailers are starting to bring in their own products for distribution to sell via their own store, online and wholesale. No longer, the lines have become blurred. It used to be companies either wholesaled (sold directly to a retailer) or retailed products (sell to consumer).
